CARR FINANCIAL ADVOCATES
Multiple Sources of Income
It's all about believing there are addtional ways to create more money in your life if that is what you want to do...

Oftentimes people believe the only way to create more money in their lives is to take on a second job. That may be the case, but then again, it may not be. It just depends upon the skills and talents you bring to the table, your imagination, and your willingness to ask and explore possibilities with other people.

By being willing to investigate various ways to create other sources of income, you will start to come across ideas, and begin to hear about opportunities that you might explore to see if they are good fits or not. Here are some ideas worth exploring (perhaps) in addition to the alternative of getting a second job:

  1.

As an independent contractor, offer to bring in additional sales to a business or to an independent business person. Both are always looking for new clients or customers. With the basic idea being increased sales, you and the person providing the service or product have a beginning point for discussing how that might come about and how the details could be designed for the satisfaction of both parties.

  2. Network Marketing is an attractive idea for many people because it's not hard to understand the power of exponential mathematics. This alternative works well for some people and not so well for others. Like all ideas a person envisions, the likelihood of success depends upon many variables. But what we know for certain is that most ideas are worth exploring. For instance, Libby and Paul are both clients and associates of Prepaid Legal, a network marketing organization providing legal services and education for their members. We are primarily focused on our financial services business, but PPL provides some excellent services and some extra income.

  3. Providing services on a part-time basis. This can encompass myriad services. Let your imagination guide you when thinking about what you love doing, a favorite hobby perhaps, or an activity in which you are proficient. Perhaps such services could be turned into additional income.
Remember: By having a business in your home (something that you eventually make money doing and is not just a hobby for you), you can realize additional tax deductions that could lower your taxable income, sometimes quite substanially.
